University Academic Centers & Institutes
In order to promote academic success and regional/national engagement, the University of Utah authorizes the creation of University Academic Centers and Institutes. These organizational bodies allow departments to focus research, work across departmental lines, develop community and national outreach, and provide important services for students, faculty, and staff.
Centers and Institutes are an integral part of the University of Utah experience, and showcase the dramatic range of scholarship and public service provided by the University.
